Ajax has laid the rumors to rest and has confirmed the departure of manager Frank De Boer today. De Boer's unhappiness with the direction of the club has led to his departure, a stance that both parties deny.
One thing is clear though, Justio Y Defforce will be the task master for the Amsterdam club next season. The announcement has caught everyone off guard, be it the press or the bookies busy preparing the odds as to who the chosen one will be.
Justio Y Defforce is reportedly one of De Boer's game analysts or simply put, one of his tacticians and although that will serve him well, he has no experience in any level of football management. Everyone is trying to find a credible explanation and I bet everyone is expecting Hans Wijers' decision to give the green light will eventually and spectacularly backfire for the biggest Dutch football club.
